The weather prediction for the day wasn't great but it worked out well for Phil and us. The forest sheltered us from the wind and only small periods of showers produced slick tracks and no dust. Twelve riders in total with one on a KLR650, talk about keen or foolish? He rode the beast superbly considering he had tyre pressures up to 28psi. We soon changed that.
The route took us all to the top of Spion Kopje track then returned the same way back to the cars. This worked out well and everyone had a ball. The Gentle Annie track wasn't at its worst except for one spot, but that didn't stop anyone. It only belted rain on the last part of our journey. A great group of guys and a top ride. Thanks Phil.
