G’day fellas,

im taking my WR450F to get full rego on Monday arvo in Warragul and need to find my way home to Ferntree Gully in the most fun way possible.
The bike WR has more of a road/adventure tyre on it to pass the RWC, so probably more suited to gravel and dirt roads, but if anyone knowledgeable of the area can suggest some back roads, or even wants to join, it’d be most welcome.
Estimated depart time would be around 3pm, depending how long VR take.
Cheers!
liam.

Ordinarily i dont recomend riding on ones own ( and i avoid it)
you could ride back through to neerim sth and head out through the powerlines , Jindivick, Labourtouche and back to Gembrook. gembrook to FTG over the mountain
take a map and your phone of course , just in case.
If you are riding on your own , ring someone and let them know roughly where you are heading and when you get home.
( ive seen dumped dogs in the area ( wild dogs) in the past ,
Jeff

Just saw this now, Cheers Jeff!
I’m well aware of the precautions of riding solo, and always let the partner and a good buddy who 4wheels when/where I intend on going and when I’m due to return (and make sure I let them know I’m in phone range safe)
Cheers for the concern mate, I ended up just taking the gravel roads thru Labortouche and Bunyip to emerald, down to the gully without incedent.

Cheers,
Liam.
