Hello all , after my little navigation issue on Saturday and driving around a lot of dirt roads it made me wish I was out on my Tenere and as Jane Bunn’s 8 day forecast is showing a lovely day coming Sunday 22nd i am up for an Adventure ride so here it is .

I should clarify that this is a Beginner level Adventure ride and the pace and total distance will reflect this so if your looking for a nice easy day in the saddle this one might be for you .

Starting from our place and as most riders will have had a bit of a ride to get here my daughter Chelsea has offered to make some muffins so morning tea in Koowee is on me when you get here. 

Once away we will be straight onto the dirt roads heading toward the hills of South Gippsland and depending on our progress lunch will be at a Pub , Bakery of Cafe at one of the many places the area has to offer ( probably somewhere like Korumburra ).

After lunch we can continue to make a nice loop of it coming back through Kongwak , Almurta , Krowera and down into Loch ( Serge suggested this road and it’s a ripper ) .

I’m thinking the return trip back to Kooweerup will make it no more than 150k’s with the dirt to road mix being around 50/50 and as mentioned earlier the plan is an easy slow pace to enjoy the scenery , view and more importantly the company .

Hoping some like minded riders would like to join me for a day out .

Good on ya Serge , it will be a bit easier than what your used too but i hope you enjoy it .

its my daughters birthday on Sunday & so I probably wont be able to come on your ride as i wont be able to get a leave pass for the entire day but i may be able to come down for a quick mornings ride & get a Muffin

Gidday Geoff , don't get yourself into trouble by putting a ride in front of your daughter's birthday mate . Chelsea said she will make you more muffins for the next ride ( cant promise the good weather next time though ) . Regards Scotty
