Having passed it's inspection (with flying colors) the PE175 is ready to Red Plate.  I'll take the paperwork to VicRoads on Monday morning and, all going to plan, will come out with another shiny red plate.

This one was easy to prepare.  Gary had removed all the ADR gear when he bought this bike, so everything was still in 'new' condition.  So, with the addition of a battery, the front and rear break-lights worked immediately.  I put the horn back on and pushed the button.....beep, beep!  I re-fitted and re-connected the indicators, threw the switch and......flash, flash (even the dash light still worked)!  replaced the mirror and she's good to go, just in time for Tallarook!   

Looks good Serge , not far behind ya now that I have finally sorted this engine out .

Youre right though.  I'm still in two minds how far to go with a 'resto' on this old girl.

Well, that's a bummer!

Just came back from VicRoads.  They have 'run out' of Red Plates and the new ones are being 're-formatted' (?) at the moment, so they won't be available for at least another 2 weeks!  So the 175 won't be heading to Tallarook!  

I will still go and take the 250.  I could just punt the 175 around the circuit and take the 250 out in the forest.  I'll give that some thought.
