Tiring to workout which would be a better option regarding setting dates for the kid ride days
Option 1
Do we set a date say the 1st 2nd 3td or 4th  weekend every month

Option 2
Look for open space on the calendar then fill it so with 2 to 3 week notice
but random weekends

which would suit most people as it doesn't bother me either way

As my wife keeps telling me I'm easy
It is only when a mosquito lands on your balls that you realise there is always a way to solve problems without using violence

Fixed weekend is probably easier to plan. And if the kids miss one, at least you can tell them next month. Not i don't know when the next one is?

not that it bothers me but I think having a set weekend would make it easier for people who's kids have other weekend commitments, then you can tell the team well in advance that you cant be there and be rostered off

John,    I think the regular entry in the calendar works in favour of the ride.  My support for a consistent weekend.

A set weekend each month would be good. Easier to plan ahead and not double book things.
The older I get, the slower I was.

Ok fixed weekend it is
Now which one suits most people as the people with kids would be the be best to advise me
Have your say as it does no bother me
I think we should take school holiday in to account
As dose it suit to run them on school holiday or not ?
I know it won't suit every one but get it as close as possible
as the club has invested a lot in to these events so I would like to get as much value as possible out of these days
