A dry day's ride greeted us thankfully. The day before was the huge deluge of rain in Melbourne. Disa was wet but nothing like expected.
Denis, Dave, Jason, Simon and myself kicked off on some narrow tracks to warm up onto open tracks with views heading Northwards through the forest. The same boghole track as last time was a lot worse, so we backtracked. Then explored a few tracks I haven't done for years. On one track a creek looked deep and as I was checking it for us to proceed safely, Dave decided to just go for it. Worked out well as it wasn't too bad.
The ride ended around 2.30/3pm and 86kms. Everyone rode well all day and on what I reckon are great tracks.
Thanks guys for an excellent day.
