Bit of a  project I'm Ditching the 50mm Marzocchi front forks and  replacing them with Ohlins , hopefully I will be able to modify the rear shock to fit as well   , Ohlins all round  :)
why the change ?

Marzocchi 50mm single chamber forks are one of the worst forks ever made so replacing them with Ohlins will improve the front end ,

Brought a second hand TTR 230 for Helen to ride it's already rec reg'd but the headlight didn't work the bloke said the globe was blown. Put a globe in it today beauty that works until you reved it up bang blown globe straight away.
All right I thought maybe the voltage reg is knackered, followed the wiring back. Some  clown's wired it up to the wrong side of the voltage reg the poor 12 v globe is  trying to cope with around 60 v

You should have got a 60 volt globe or put 5 12 volt globes in series.

Would that be in series or parallel, keep in mind I'm a un-qualified chippy so have no idea. Would two 20's and two 10's work, probably easier than trying to squeeze five globes in.
