President Paul from AMTRA NSW is proposing a weekend ride to get the Victorian and New South Wales members together. The event will be held at Holbrook, in conjunction with the Holbrook Motorcycle Sports Club. The format will be as follows:
• Proposed Date: 3 & 4 September
• Location: Holbrook NSW (386km from Melbourne & 492km from Sydney)
• Arrival time: Friday 2nd September, 5 – 10 pm.
• Accommodation: Holbrook Settlers Motel (holbrooksettlersmotel.com)
• Accommodation Cost: $35 per person per night including continental breakfast. Total 32 rooms.
• Ride Location Saturday: Woomargama National Park and surrounds, 40 minutes from Holbrook.
• Saturday Ride Details: 160-180km of mixed trails including some single track, 2 x Support Vehicles, BBQ lunch and fuel stop. AMTRA to provide 1 support vehicle.
• Saturday Dinner: BBQ dinner at motel with local guys.
• Sunday Ride Details: Local Holbrook private property, 16km single track enduro loop used for competition enduro event. Ride until you drop!
• Departure: Early Sunday afternoon or earlier.
• Cost: TBA, Approx $100-$120 per person.
• Number of NSW/VIC AMTRA riders: 30 + 10-20 local riders.
The event is still in planning stage, but expressions of interested from our Vic members is needed. It will be a 'members only' ride. It will be limited to 30 (of us), with a stand-by list, so let us know if you're interested and we'll put you on the list.
