HTFU Level 2 plus ride Neerim South. Ok this one will be a full day ride but broken up into a morning and afternoon ride and on a Saturday for though 's who could not make Sundays. If you want to know what HTFU means then call me but Numbers are 15 as this is going to be as full on as we can do in this area so not for the faint hearted. This will still be a very social ride, with plenty of stops, and Dinner at the Robin Hood Pub after the ride. As I am new at putting on Rides, my rides numbers are limited , so book your spot early, or miss out.
Ok for the ride, this is not a beginners ride but if you have done a few level 2 AMTRA rides with out to much problems and with good pace and you want to have a go at the hard stuff then this is it. We will do the hard ups and keep having ago until we are up and if the river is down enough we may even get our feet wet. We meet at the DSE Latrobe River Rd Trail Bike unloading Saturday the 26th of June 8.30am for 9am start onto the trails and back 2 the cars for lunch and fuel tank top up. Rec Reg welcome. Full tank of fuel and some extra to top up at Lunch time. Plenty of fluid for hydraition. Nothing too easy on this one as the goal is to find the harder stuff and especially considering it should be wet it could be good. With steep ups and downs, open trails and as many goat tracks as we can find thrown in. We get back to the cars around 12am for lunch and then back out at around 1.00pm so even if you can not make the morning you can come for the arvo ride or vise sa versa just let me know so what I can expect. We should be all packed up, and sitting down in the Robin Hood Pub ,for some serious bench racing and a counter meal by 5.00pm for a 6pm dinner. For the guys who have not been to Neerim before I will meet you at the East bound BP on Princes Hwy at Long Warry for 7.45am for a 8.am departure from the BP. Note I will be parked at the rear of the servo in the truck parking bays. The servo is around 15 minutes past the last Pakenham turn off and it is just inside the 80klm speed zone. contact Will 0414354317 Come if you Dare Please let me know ASAP so I can add your details below 1.Will Munro.Pub yes 2.Rossi Ranyard. Pub yes 3.Frankie. pub yes 4.Chris Pub ? 5.Pommy Mat Pub yes 6.Pommy James pub yes 7.Aaron Pub yes 8.Seano Pub, not hard enough yet 2 come to the pub 9.Garry Clarke Pub no 10.Aaron pub ? 11.David P Pub, also not hard enough yet 2 come to the pub 12.Dustin pub Yes 13.Carl Pub Yes 14.Darren Pub no 15.Rodney. Not long now, to commemorate the day I was thinking about getting some AMTRA tshirts printed up with the following on the back of the shirt, HTFU Ride Neerim Sth 23/6/10 "I was there Where were you" We could leave it at that or we could perhaps every attendees names printed below, what do you's think, how many would like to purchase such a t Shirt, just need to get some feedback to work out if feesible or not. Will

Come on Will, let Phil ride. He can have my spot if he has too. I'll gladly give it up for him.
I doubt he'll want to now though.

I'm thinking pillion, might give some extra traction!

Sorry Will - i have to pull out, seems i've hardened up too much and as such when i was changing the gear oil on Saturday i managed to crack the crankcase housing.... not happy Jan.......
i guess that'll teach me for trying to do the right thing and "maintain" the bike

18. Nathan Ok some of the guys reckon we could let a few more come along so if you are game here is your chance. this ride is going to be extreame level 2 with lots of steep muddy and rutted and rocky and slippery ups and downs, with the need to be able to climb hills in second or third gear using your clutch and engine torque to get you up. {Clutch Slipping}. We have also found some realy hard over grown tracks which will benefit from a lot of bikes going on them, again more clutch work required. If this sounds like your sort of ride and want to come to the pub for dinner let me know and I will add you to the list. Also if you are interested in the Commerative HTFU T Shirt let me know also as I will be ordering these on Wedensday. Will
