After not doing this weekend in 07 it's BACK! Two days of riding out from the club's property. The MEGA WEBBA will be there for the Roast dinner on the Saturday night and bacon-and-eggs for sunday breakfast. Expect about $15 a head will cover the two coure dinner and breakfast. BYO drinks. The riding will be level 2 with help given if we find some more interesting (white, cold, on top of the hills) stuff. We are limited to where we can go as a few of tracks in the area are closed but there is still plenty of others. More details to follow, or ask any questions here.

I can recall the day Australia went to the dogs... The day that I had to pay for sauce on my pie.

Tim,
Sounds good so have it in the diary to get there, if only for one of the days riding and the overnight camping. I am assuming rec reg suitable riding plans. This time I will bring suitable gear for snow.

I have no plans of going into towns. Fuel range required will be 120Km.

Starting to get a few calls for the weekend with four starters so far. I think I had 16 to the 06 weekend, might be bigger this year!

Tim,
Still planning to come. What sort of ride plan do you have for Sunday? May have to leave mid-day on Sunday.
Should be there Friday night for riding on Saturday.

With Chris and Mat and myself we're at 7. The planed Sunday Ride will be up to lake Cobbler. It should be and early day as it's only about 70Km round trip but we have to use Worseldine as the Cobbler Lake-Abbeyard Tk is now seasonally closed.

No ! The permit application may be in though. Fingers crossed. When we have done that and got approval we can get quotes to do the other work that the council want. Soon after we can finalise the budget extension - then take it to the members - then proceed. I am looking forward to making sure that the project is planned in advance of execution and that all conceivable outgoings are known before any more works are done. Who knows, we might even be able to budget for a party (a few drinks and a snag or 5) in the new shed when it's finished. I wonder if Zig and Zag will show up, roll their new ute crash their bikes and break bones again ?

AMTRA have a "try before you buy" that welcomes prospective new members to come along to a ride or two and decide if it's what they are looking for in a club. Huski even people who are only thinking of joining are welcome! Count me in, what time would the saturday ride start? is it best to come up on the friday night, or the Saturday morning?
Matt.
Matt Getting there Friday would be the best thing to do even if it's late even very late, at least your there and not rushed on the Saturday morning. In the past all of the people who have come do so on the Friday night. I aim to leave for the Saturday ride at 9am. Tim
